The most common question from those who approach the Aura-Soma® system or those who are working on themselves is when and how they will find their SOUL BOTTLE.

On one level the selection of the soul bottle is very important because it holds the key of our mission and purpose in this life – who we are, what we have come here to do and the way we are meant to do what we have come here to do.

Vicky Wall, the founder and innovator of the system, described the Aura-Soma system as a gift from Spirit to support us inthis time in our journey towards ourselves, a gift to support us in the awakening of Heaven onEarth in a conscious way.

In the Aura-Soma training we learn that in order to find ourselves, to find our soul bottle, we need to be able to commit to ourselves. When we talk about COMMITMENT, we are not often aware that we talk about a promise to do or give something, a promise to be loyal to someone or something, the attitude of working very hard to do or support something.

What are the implications of what stated above? A promise is a statement telling someone that you will definitely do something or that something will definitely happen in the future and that ‘something’ refers to what we have agreed to do in this life.

We always look for a sense or a meaning, but are we ready to do what we have agreed to do? This is the main question we should ask ourselves.

Plato, while referring to the words of his teacher Socrates, considers the soul the essence of a person, the aspect within us which decides how we behave. It is an immaterial and incorporeal substance, akin to the gods and partaking of divinity, yet part of the world of change and becoming.

The reason why we refer to this concept is because in order to find our soul bottle we need to recognise our soul first and as we do that, we need to realise that there is an aspect of the divine within us ready to fulfil the promise to be loyal to what we have come here to do.

Each of us is here for a reason which goes beyond the simple living, going to work, getting up in the morning or going out with friends. All of that is just the background of the purpose that we have come here to do.

When we look at an Aura-Soma Equilibrium bottle, the two layers of colour reflect the personality ray and the soul ray, the conscious way and the subconscious/unconscious way, all the challenges and the gifts we have brought here to develop the talents that we have come to express in the world.

The beauty of each selection is that every time we are given a possibility to work through the different situations we have chosen to live to awaken our gifts to be able to fulfil what we have come here to do. In each moment we are given the possibility to become conscious of a pattern that keeps us away from recognising who we are on a deeper level, to become more aware of who we are and our mission and purpose.

‘You are the colours you choose and these reflect your being’s needs.’

There is no separation between what a person selects and what they need. What they are called to is the same as what they need. The person selects for themselves through what they are called to because the Aura-Soma systemhonours the fact thatthe each of us has been with themselves since the beginning and, therefore, theyknow what is good for them better than anybody else.

We deeply know who we are, we just need to recognise it, to remember it. No one will listen to us until we listen to ourselves. We can always choose to look at things in a different way. We can choose to live our life fully and be who we really are. In the same way we can choose to recognize who we are and to fully commit to ourselves.

What changes Karma into Dharma is the intention. The intention behind our choices is the key to the unfoldment of what lies within us, whether it is a colour selection or something bigger.

It depends on us.

It is an invitation to open yourselves to who you are and select the colours which represent you the most – that is the first step of your commitment to yourselves and the unfoldment of your real life.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
